Daxsonics is a leading engineering consulting firm focusing on product development for medical ultrasound systems and located in Halifax, Canada. Our areas of expertise cover all aspects of high-frequency ultrasonic imaging technology: digital and analog hardware design, piezoelectric transducer design and production, and medical imaging software design and development.
The successful candidate is responsible for leading the business development efforts for Daxsonics Ultrasound. The primary assignment in this role is identifying new revenue opportunities within public and private sectors. The creation and execution of a strong business development plan is required.
You will facilitate business development meetings both one on one and in group settings with all levels of management. High attention to detail, experience developing professional presentations and exceptional communication skills are required.
Monitor similar businesses in the industry, and track activities by identifying competing products/services. Support business development goals by attending trade shows, industry events and maintaining potential and existing client relationships.
This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
- Business and/or Engineering Degree (preferable to have both)
- Sales & Marketing Experience
- Experience working with Government funding programs
- Ability to travel outside of Canada
